Los Geranios is a small to medium size complex in San Eugenio Bajo. The apartments are all privately-owned and are grouped around a pleasant swimming pool which enjoys the sunshine all day. The pool is heated and well maintained, although it does not have a lifeguard, in accordance with Spanish law it is surrounded by a security fence so that young children cannot get access without adult supervision. There is a sundeck in addition to the pool surrounds and plenty of sunbeds for visitors to use. Whilst Los Geranios is situated in the heart of a busy area - with plenty of shops, bars and other attractions nearby, the pool area is a haven of peace at all times. Access to the complex is controlled at all times. There is a receptionist controlling access during the daytime, and a security guard at night. Access for holiday-makers is by showing their card at the door. In the reception area, there is internet access and a book swap. Whilst there is no restaurant on site, there is such a wide variety of eating places available in the area within a ten minute walk, that an on-site facility is unnecessary.

THE LOCATION
Los Geranios is situated in Avenida de España at the top of the hill, just before it joins Avenida de los Pueblos which is the main road through San Eugenio Bajo. It is the complex immediately above Club Flamingo with its renowned Harley's Bar and Restaurant. At the junction, over the road is the San Eugenio Shopping Centre. There is a wide variety of shops here: you can get shoes and handbags, souvenirs, electronic and photographic goods and there are cafeterias here as well. Bear in mind when buying expensive goods, however, that many items can be cheaper at home than in Tenerife. At the moment, Spring 2009, the depressed pound does give Tenerife a price advantage. Particularly with the photographic and electronic goods, remember that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. Here, however, you can purchase many of your holiday requirements and the Mercadona supermarket is one of the largest and best in the area with excellent choice and prices on food and drink.
THE APARTMENT
Our apartment in Los Geranios is a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor. It is situated in a quiet corner away from the main thoroughfare from reception to the pool, from which it is separated by attractive gardens. There is a private terrace outside the front door with table and chairs for al fresco dining in Tenerife's wonderful sunshine. On arrival, a welcome pack will be waiting for you which includes a bottle of drinking water, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits in case you arrive late.
The apartment has a separate bedroom with twin beds, a bathroom with bath and shower and a kitchenette with microwave oven, electric hobs, kettle and toaster. For families with up to two children, we are pleased to supply a Z bed and/or a buffet bed along with the extra linen and we can supply a cot if required. It is our intention over the Summer to install a sofabed which will make the apartment suitable for four adults. Linen is normally changed weekly on a Friday unless visitors elect to do their own laundry during longer stays, for which an allowance is made in charges. There is a launderette in the garage with several machines.
The apartment is connected to reception by telephone and incoming calls can be received. Outgoing calls can be made from a phone booth in reception. A phone card costing 5 Euros gives 300 minutes of phone call to the UK.
British television channels are available on the television as well as a variety of Spanish, German and Italian programmes.

BOOKINGS
We are happy to accept bookings either in the UK or in Tenerife. The price per week for holiday lets for up to two adults is £250. If you are bringing your children, the legal maximum occupancy of the apartment is four and there is a small extra charge for additional guests. Depending on the time of year, we may well be able to offer you special rates, and it is always worth talking to us "just in case".
We are always willing to negotiate prices for longer stays - we can offer particularly good rates if your stay is for two months or more. Whilst almost all of the Tenerife property market charges more for holiday periods, our prices remain constant. Contact us for details.
We ask for a deposit on booking. This is £100, or 20% of the total, whichever is the larger sum. The balance is to be paid six weeks in advance of arrival. Payment can be made in the UK or in Euros in Tenerife, whichever is more convenient.
